Several songs fromBeyonce, Lady Gaga and Backstreet Boys were banned

Ministry of Culture of China has decided to ban several song from Lady Gaga, Beyonce and Backstreet Boys.
They got blacklisted because they were considered a threat to the national culture of China and they were banned.
The total number of songs prohibited is around 100, of which 6 are songs by Lady Gaga. Of these we can enumerate: “The Edge of Glory,” “Hair,” “Marry the Night” and “Bloody Mary”.
Another artist that is not pleasing to officials of the Ministry of Culture of China is Beyonce. Her song “Run The World” has a very feminist message that is not pleasing to them, because there is too much risk to instigate spirits.
What is less understandable is that the list of censored ones contains the boys from Backstreet Boys.
